64.5 mW High-Average-Power Lithium Niobate Terahertz Source
Recently, Professor Wu Xiaojun’s research group at the International Terahertz Innovation Center, Institute for Advanced Innovation, Beihang University, achieved a breakthrough in developing a new generation of high-performance terahertz sources—characterized by high average power, high pulse repetition rate, high brightness, and low cost (“the new three highs”). This advancement was realized by employing a domestically produced 1030 nm industrial-grade femtosecond laser from Hangzhou Aochuang Photonics Co., Ltd. to pump a lithium niobate crystal using the tilted-pulse-front technique.
