THz Attenuation Plate
The adjustable thz attenuator consists of 5 fan wheels (including four thz attenuation plates). Among these fan wheels, the wedge-shaped high-resistance silicon chips with metallization treatment have different transmittance levels, and one of the fan wheels is empty. If necessary, the customer can install other devices (such as filters, etc.) in the empty wheel. The transmittance of the four thz attenuators is 30%, 10%, 3%, and 1% respectively. These attenuators can be used individually or in combination to achieve different attenuation rates. The transmittance curves of the attenuator elements (with noise smoothed) are as follows. The test data below 1000um are given in the figure. Of course, its working wavelength range can be wider.
