THz High-Pass Filter
Product Introduction:
The THz High-Pass Filter (HPF) is designed to suppress lower frequencies and only allow high terahertz frequencies to pass through. The filter is made of a metal plate with sub-wavelength diameter holes. The filter is installed on a bracket and matches the ring. The micro-holes in the filter act as waveguides, and the suppression frequency is determined by the geometric shape of the holes.
Application:
• THz Spectroscopy;
• THz Diagnostic Instrument;
• Applications in astronomy and astrophysics, including applications in space base stations;
• Materials Research;
• Sensors and Detectors;
• Extracting high harmonics from the radiation of free electron terahertz lasers;
• Shielding Coating.
Key Characteristic:
• High transmittance in the passband;
• Low stopband transmission rate(<0.1%);
• The cutoff frequency reaches up to 0.5 THz;
• Installed on the bracket。
